Sangamam (1999) (Tamil: சங்கமம்) is a Tamil musical romance film directed by Suresh Krishna. Actor Rahman, the co-brother of A.R. Rahman was the hero of the film. Vindhya made her debut playing the daughter of the rich classical father played by Vijayakumar. The film’s music was composed by A. R. Rahman. The music of the film was a very well applauded and the movie got rave reviews from the critics and the people. However the movie failed miserably at the box-office and incurred a huge loss to the producer – Pyramid V Natarajan.
